Terms of Service

FlavorFile (flavorfile.me) is run by Lauren Galicia. By creating an account or using FlavorFile, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Who can use FlavorFile

You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Your account

• Give accurate sign-up details and keep your password safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• One person per account. Don't pretend to be someone else or a business you don't represent.
• Usernames must not be offensive, misleading, or someone else's trademark.

What you post

You keep ownership of your notes, photos and menu items. By posting them, you let FlavorFile store, show and share them inside the app and on shared-link pages, so the app can work. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already copied it or the law requires us to keep it.

Menu items, prices and place details you add can be edited by other people and by admins. They are shared information, not just yours.

Content rules

FlavorFile has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Don't post:

• Hate, harassment, threats, or content that targets someone for who they are
• Sexual content, violence, or illegal activity
• Fake reviews, spam, ads, or notes written for pay or to hurt a competitor
• Other people's private information or photos without permission
• Content you don't have the rights to

Don't scrape the app, try to get around privacy settings, overload our systems, or use the app for anything illegal.

Reports, blocking and enforcement

Anyone can report a note, photo, menu item or person, and block anyone. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. We may hide or remove content, and warn, suspend or remove accounts that break these rules. If your content is hidden, you'll be told, and you can contact us if you think it was a mistake.

Places, prices and information

Place and menu information comes from other users and from Google. It may be wrong or out of date. Check prices, hours and allergens with the place itself.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Sections about content you posted, liability and disputes still apply after an account ends.

The app as it is

FlavorFile is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate but can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or right about every place. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for losses from relying on information in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms. For major changes, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. Using FlavorFile after that means you accept the new terms.

App store terms

If you got FlavorFile from Apple's App Store or Google Play, their standard terms for apps also apply. Apple and Google are not responsible for FlavorFile or its support.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in New York County (Manhattan), unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it there.
